ATL Search Group is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to lead inventory accuracy, reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency init iatives. This is not a traditional inventory role-we are looking for a data-driven professional who can leverage advanced Excel skills, identify trends, solve complex inventory challenges, and drive measurable improvements across our supply chain operation s. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership abilities with advanced inventory management expertise and exceptional Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, reporting automation, and data analysis. What You’ll Do

Inventory Management & Control

  • Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and root causes.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy targets and implement corrective action plans.
  • Develop and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Create and maintain advanced Excel dashboards and invent ory reports.
  • Analyze inventory trends, turnover rates, stock levels, and forecasting data.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership regarding inventory performance.
  • Develop automated reporting tools to improve operational visibility.
  • Utilize advanced form ulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional logic, and data validation techniques.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise, train, and mentor inventory personnel.
  • Establish performance standards and ensure accountability.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Qualifications Must-Have Experie nce

  • 3+ years of inventory control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
  • Experience managing large datasets and generati ng analytical reports.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
  • Supply chain, logistics, or distribution industry experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory forecasting and demand planning.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
